2. Check your water hose for bulging, cracks or leaks if there is any to replace the hose immediately.

3. Check that your washer is not too close to the wall because if too close, hose might coil.

4. Make sure your washer is balanced on the floor before use as this could cause damage to the

machine if it moves around while spinning.

5. Check for the lint filter and clean it. The filter is found at the top of the tub or in the agitator tub.

Always clean this after each wash to help the machine run smoothly.

6. Wash the machine tub with a washing machine cleaner or water solution (hot water, vinegar and baking soda)

7. Leave the washer lid or door open to dry out and for a fresh smell.  For the front loader, clean

the rubber seal around the door area after each laundry.

10. Don’t over load washer, wash heavy clothes eg jeans, sweater etc in small quantities.
